Why we prefer using Sceletium with CBD and not just THC:

Sceletium Tortuosum: Also called KANNA (Something to chew)

History: Sceletium tortuosum is a small creeping groundcover plant which occur naturally in the Kanna land (Native to South Africa which is very dry and desert like conditions). The plant is fermented, dried and then chewed, drink (Tradition tea) or inhaled (Sniff).

There are some good papers regarding Sceletium for more research:

  • Allice Notten from Kirstenbosch and lots more on the internet.
  • Sceletium tortuosum contains alkaloids namely Mesembrine, mesembrenol. 2 main alkaloids and then mesembrenone and tortuosamine, which can also be present and produce very similar effects to mesembrine.

Research has shown over the years and proved that Sceletium alkaloids are beneficial in the pharmacology industry.
Acting on the neurotransmitters and increases Serotonin levels towards certain receptors, makes this naturally – researches found – more potent than most pharmaceutical chemical compounds.

As with our Cannabis genetics, Geo Greenhealth and Tsema Keru concentrate on stability of genetics regarding medicine. The two companies are still expanding with research towards Bio Chemically, diversity and might be a world leader in what’s coming in 2023
